Moore & Van Allen PLLC is a prominent business and litigation law firm with offices in the Carolinas. This full-time hybrid position, located in our Charlotte, NC office, with our Information Technology team will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role will also provide support as needed to Applications Group and End-User; and keep up with the latest technologies, troubleshooting methods and products.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or the equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred, with 4 years of experience in enterprise level networking and security administration, monitoring and/or troubleshooting. This position will spend 40% of their time working on routing, switching and firewall, and the other 60% on other technologies such as Exchange Online, Office 365, Azure, Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022, and VMware. An industry-level certification related to routing and switching technology is preferred. Proficiency in routing protocols, switching technologies, and in configuring and troubleshooting firewall platforms such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS, server hardware, Office 365, Azure and Vmware experience is a plus. Position will require more than 40 hours per week as needed.
